SALE LIST - HORSES
In continuing to reflect on our life's path since moving to New Mexico, we once again are simplifying. Each and every horse on this list is special in its own way. A happy new partnership is of the utmost consideration!
Siegfried (aka Ziggy) Foaled: April 7, 2007
Sire: BR King Rocky (Shire/Gypsy Cob) x Dam: Zoelynette (Friesian)
At 16+ hands barefoot, this handsome gelding is eligible for his official Drum registration papers when he is 4 years old. "The Drum" goes back in English history for carrying the kettle drums in ceremonial celebrations for the Queen.
Ziggy already has a repretoire of ground work and a pocket full of tricks (kneels, shakes his head "no", etc.). He has been sat on bareback with just a halter and lead plus carries tack. Ziggy can be preoccupied with dining in his turn out, when a call will bring him down for attention asking what are we going to embark on next? He is quite a character! There is the personality of the draft and the dressage potential of the Freisian plus he could be a driving star.
Sound with no vices, Ziggy could be your "special guy" for $ 22,500.00.
Quetzal - Light as a feather
By Vinto Negro by Cofre, out of Hovea by Lucifer. I imported this horse from a world-renowned Mexican breeder just after he had been put under saddle. Born April 2, 1997, this 15:3 hand grey Lusitano gelding is elegant with lots of presence. His free movement with soft suspension is like being in an easy chair. Lateral work is a breeze in all three gaits plus the passage - and let's now leave out the Spanish walk and kneel. For fun he loves to get set up on the rail and do his "park trot." Come spring we will be confirming the piaffe and flying changes. Quetzal is looking for a one-on-one partnership.
